Dunkermotoren cycles for a good cause

As part of the "Dunker bewegt" charity campaign, Dunkermotoren, an AMETEK brand, organizes a regional sports event once a year, the proceeds of which go to a social cause and support families in need.

This year, Dunkermotoren has dedicated itself to a special motto with the event and joined the Germany-wide “STADTRADELN” (engl: City Cycling) campaign of the German Climate Alliance.
This encouraged Dunkermotoren employees to avoid using their cars for as many journeys as possible over a three-week period and instead cycle as many kilometers as possible. The total achieved kilometers were collected in a Team account. Dunkermotoren subsidized every kilometer with one euro up to a maximum amount of €7,500.

A total of 55 employees took part in this campaign, covering 11,780 kilometers in three weeks. As a result, around 1,900 kg of CO2 was prevented and the full donation allowance per kilometer was utilized. The donation will benefit two children from Stühlingen who lost their parents in an accident.
