    In the railroad industry, our drive products are used in sanding systems, windshield wipers, train steps, interior and exterior doors, pantographs, locking mechanisms, and for hydraulic breakings systems.
  • Municipal Vehicles
    To ensure that our cities and towns always present themselves at their best, municipalities need vehicles that are used for things like cleaning streets and sidewalks or shoveling snow. In the case of road cleaning machines, our brush drives offer fast and powerful operation to keep the roads clean of trash and dirt.
  • Access Systems / Platform Screen Doors
    Anyone who has ever traveled in Asia has seen them – the Platform Screen Doors allow for safe entry of trains, streetcars, and subways. The so-called PSDs prevent pedestrians from stepping onto train tracks or standing too close to an arriving train. This means trains can enter and exit a station at a much higher speed, transporting passengers to their destination quicker and safer than without PSDs in place. Dunkermotors are used in PSDs all over the world.

    Container ships move an unthinkable amount of goods around the world, but these mega-freighters can only move if all cogs are running smoothly. Dunkermotors are used in AdBlue pumps, flap adjusters, and ship doors to ensure safe and timely transport of hot goods.

Quiet control when it matters most: Dunkermotoren introduces noise-optimized E90R LN spring-applied brake
People look to Dunkermotoren for motion – but reliable stopping is just as critical. With the redesigned E90R LN spring-applied brake, Dunkermotoren expands its brake portfolio with a solution that delivers quieter operation, precise control and uncompromising safety, even in the most demanding applications.

The E90R LN is based on the proven fail-safe principle: when de-energized, the brake engages automatically and securely holds the load. When power is applied, a magnetic field pulls the armature plate, releasing the braking force. This ensures maximum operational safety, particularly in the event of power failure or emergency stop scenarios.

As part of the latest design update, Dunkermotoren placed a strong focus on acoustic performance. A newly optimized driver design significantly reduces play between the driver and the armature plate. This minimizes vibration and rattling, resulting in noticeably smoother and quieter operation. The improved acoustic behavior enhances not only user comfort, but also the perceived quality of the entire drive system.

How Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) sustainably optimize processes The intralogistics industry is currently undergoing a profound transformation. Improved voltage resistance also protects the electronics from high battery charging voltages - an especially important advantage in mobile robotics systems. IIoT‑Integration with nexofox Data-driven efficiency – predictive maintenance – lower downtime costs In combination with the digital brand nexofox, high-frequency process data can be collected directly within the customer application and transferred to the cloud via a gateway-independent of the higher-level PLC.
