Right angle gearboxes are ideal when a drive needs to be particularly compact, meaning there is limited axial space available.
Right angle gearboxes come in various designs. The simplest and quietest design is the worm gear. Bevel gearboxes are characterized by particularly high efficiency. Worm gears achieve an excellent service life.
The various designs make it possible to achieve the properties suitable for the application. In addition, they can be adapted to customer requirements, such as the interface. They are maintenance-free and can be easily combined with our BLDC, DC, and AC motors.

Our right-angle gearboxes are available in various designs:
SG (Worm Gear): Particularly smooth-running, this series is characterized by high efficiency.
KG (Bevel Gear): Bevel gears have a particularly high efficiency, are very robust, and are available in protection class up to IP 65. The output shaft has IP 52 and can be upgraded to higher protection classes by the customer if required. The shaft offset is kept low, and in the KG 80 it is even zero - meaning no shaft offset. The lower the shaft offset, the slimmer the drives can be built and the less space the drive requires in the application.
STG (Spirotec Gear): The STG series is a spiral bevel gear. This series achieves an outstanding service life. The gearbox housing is in protection class IP 65.
