Spirotec gearboxes (STG) are right-angle gearboxes. The heart of the STG series is the spiral gear set. This allows for reliable transmission of high torques in a small space with a short center distance. Spirotec gearboxes are characterized by particularly smooth operation. They are significantly quieter than bevel gearboxes, for example. Since both gear components are made of hardened steel, the gearbox operates wear-free. As a result, not only do the gear components have an extremely long service life, but the lubricant also remains free of contamination, which in turn protects the seals of the input and output shafts. The housing is designed in a monoblock construction, ensuring particularly high stiffness.
